Q: How long do I get to keep my rental(s)?
A: Fall 2020 Rentals are due November 14th, 2020.  Rental(s) can be returned in person to our Gallatin store front or by shipping them to our Gallatin store.  If you choose to ship them, please email us by 11/14/20 with the tracking # to avoid any late fees. 

Q: How do I use my voucher/schloarships for my book(s)?
A: You can find all of the information for that here!
Q: How long do I have to use my Book Voucher/Scholarship?
A: Book Vouchers and Scholarships will be able to be used on our website starting on July 27th and ending on August 21st. 
Q: I like to buy my books instead of renting because I may need them. Why should I rent?
A: We have a no-risk rental which means your full rental price can be applied to the purchase price at the end of the semester.
For example, if the rental price is $25 and the purchase price is $75, you would pay $50 to keep the book at the end of the semester.
Q: What if I end up not needing a book that I purchased for this semester?
A: You have until August 7th, 2020 to return for a full refund. That gives you a chance to attend a full week of classes and decide if you need the item or not.
Q: Can I write or highlight in my rental?
A: Yes, normal use of writing/highlighting in the book is allowed. Excessive highlighting or writing can result in the rental being deemed damaged and may result in a charge for the book(s).
Q: How do I return my rental(s)?

If you are going to be shipping your rentals to our store, please email us @ with your tracking # by 11/14/20 so that your account can be noted to avoid any late fees!
Q: How will I know that you have received my rental(s) that I returned in the drop-box/shipped back to your store?
A: Once we have checked in your rental(s) from the drop-box/the package that had been sent to us, you will be sent a digital copy of your receipt to the email attached to your account!



Q: What payment methods does the Fisk Bookstore accept?
A: The Fisk Bookstore accepts the following:

Credit/Debit Card
Financial Aid/Student Voucher/Presidential Scholarship

Q: Why do I need to hold a debit/credit card on file for a rental?
A: The Fisk Bookstore requires a debit/credit card to be held on file in case the rental is not returned.



Q: How much does it cost to pickup my order in-store or shipped?
A: In-store pickup & curbside service are always FREE.  Shipping is a flat rate of $8.
Q: How long does it take to process/ship my order?
A: During business hours, online orders are processed/shipped throughout each day.
Q: How long does it take to get my order if I ship my books?
A: With Priority Shipping, orders will typically be delivered in 1-3 business days.  Orders will be delivered to the address that you choose to attach to your account upon creating a web order.



Q: What if I'm not in town to buy/rent my textbooks?
A: We're open 24/7/365 online at
Q: What are your store hours?
A: You can shop online 24/7/365! Due to Covid-19, our storefront located in Adam K. Spence hall will be temporarily closed for the Fall 2020 semester.  Our Gallatin location storefront is open Monday - Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.  We will also have extended hours at the beginning and end of every semester.


You can always ORDER ONLINE!  (Please follow CDC guidelines and wear a mask before entering the store if possible. We are observing social distancing procedures and have 6ft markers in place for your protection. This only allows for 4 customers in the lobby at one time. Please follow these indicators for the health and safety of yourself and others.

Q: What if I can not make it to the store during operating hours to return my rental?

A: We have a 24/7 Drop Box available located at our Gallatin store front.  You can also ship your rental(s) back to our store, just make sure that you have contacted us by 11/14/20  with your tracking # so that we can note your account and so that you can avoid late fees!
